Hi. My name is Meggie Taylor. Sometimes I go by Meg or Margaret (and once, for a few months in first grade, by Margaret Anne). I'm 31 and have been writing and doing other artsy stuff nearly my whole life.
The purpose of this blog is to serve as my forum to talk about the creative process as well as my work. I love working with my hands, so being creative is (to me) as much about shaping raw material into a finished, functional product as it is crafting a story to delight my audience.
So I may talk about plumbing or painting from time to time ;).
Anyway, I hope what I write here provokes a thought or two in my readers. I will answer questions that have been posed about my work, and address a few comments I've heard along the way. I may pitch story ideas or post scenes from unpublished manuscripts to either tease my audience or ask for candid opinions.
